Postsecondary Enrollment, Utah High School Graduating Class of 2008-2012

Data Definitions
High School Cohort
The Utah Classes from 2008-2012 reflects students who graduated with a basic high school diploma or an adult education secondary diploma (Carnegie). Information about cohort graduation rates and dropout rates for all districts, schools, and charter schools in Utah are available here.

Postsecondary Enrollment
Postsecondary enrollment includes enrollment at all public and private institutions in the state of Utah and postsecondary institutions that report to the StudentTracker service from the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). NSC estimates that it has enrollment information for 98% of students in the nation.

Special Education
Students who participated in special education in their final year of enrollment.

English Language Learner
Indicates whether the student participated in a Limited English Program during the final year of enrollment.

Mobile
Reflects students who were not enrolled in a particular school for the entire school year (< 160 days of enrollment in particular school) during the final year of enrollment.

Low Income
Students who qualify for National School Lunch Program (free or reduced price) or is considered economically disadvantaged on another measure during the final year of enrollment.

Student Privacy
To protect student privacy, the Utah Data Alliance does not disclose data if cell sizes are smaller than 10. If fewer than 10 students enrolled in postsecondary, or fewer than 10 students did not enroll in postsecondary, the chart will not be displayed. In some cases, none of the enrollment information will display because fewer than 10 students, overall, enrolled in postsecondary.
